• The PE film used for Cleanroom applications is made from Virgin Low Density Polyethylene with no additives.
• The polyethylene is Virgin, Barefoot LDPE, which meets the strict specifications for IEST 1246E Level 100.
• The cleanliness of resins and films is tightly controlled during the extrusion and conversion processes, to ensure maximum cleanliness.
• Widths available from 0.5” up to 80”.
• The film is extruded with nitrogen purged air to eliminate the introduction of airborne
particulate to the inside of the tubing.
• The film is then wound on plastic cores, rather than traditional paper cores, to prevent paper particulate from contaminating both the product and the end users cleanroom.
• Prior to conversion, the film will pass through an SDI Micro Klean 36 web cleaner, which creates a change in surface charge of the film to release any particulate clung to it via static electricity, and then pulls particulate off the outside of the film.
• The final product is then double bagged and placed in site a poly lined box.
• Cleanliness certification available down to IEST-1246E Level 50.
Note: If the application calls for special requirements, we will gladly work with you to meet or exceed your packaging needs.
